Brings forth change
A change of season
Of summer moving to fall
A change of scenery
From leaves of green
To leaves of golden brown
A change of the spirit
A chance to reflect
On times gone past
And those still to come

The ghosts of my past
Haunt reality's present
Awaiting the cast
To a grave accent
Of future's line of descent
A spiraling mess
